Alternate Angles back at The Hampshire House

I was completely flattered when Samina and Robin approached me to create images for their wedding, being held later today. Samina works for National Public Radio in Washington and they both are around plenty of photographers and visual people in their lines of work. What an honor it is to work with them both- They have got to be one of the NICEST couples out there- each such fabulous individuals. I consider myself so lucky to be able to work with such wonderful people! I regularly hear stories from other photographers about "bridezillas" and horror stories and, luckily, I just have not had many bad experiences in my 14 years as a wedding photographer. I feel very blessed and adore working with my clients, many of whom have become friend over the years.

Today, Samina and Robin are going to be married at The Hampshire House. They are having a wonderfully super intimate day with family only and I look forward to creating the funky, UNIQUE imagery that they are desiring. Stay in touch to see some images from their day in a few weeks. Thanks, Samina and Robin! :)

Bridal Show at The Hampshire House

I was happy to get back to The Hampshire House for the third time in 2 weeks for their annual bridal show! Vendors are carefully hand selected and it is, therefore, an honor to be one of their chosen professionals. Alternate Angles has been at their show every year and this year think that it was one of the highest attendances ever. It was great making personal connections with so many people and I look forward to connecting again with many of them to further discuss working together. It is going to be a great season and I am so lucky to be able to do what I LOVE! :)

Alternate Angles and The Hampshire House

SO much thanks to The Hampshire House for once again extending their beautiful space for me to hold this year's mock wedding through New England School of Photography, where I teach an annual course on wedding photography. We had a record amount of models involved this year- a huge thanks to all of them! It was a fun evening, full of technical challenges for the students and plenty of locals for them to create wonderful candids and portraits for their portfolios. I look forward to the critique next week and seeing their images!

Wedding at The Hampshire House

Looking forward to working together with Christine and Eric today at their wedding being held at The Hampshire House! Christine swears that, regardless of the cold temps, she is determined to create images together on the park and on the special bench where Eric proposed to her. Time will tell if we are able to withstand the expected frigid temps. Regardless, looking forward to my first wedding of 2010 and to sharing some images from their day within a few weeks!
